Design Principles - What is a Book? - First official draft

This is the first draft I have created of the layout (page to page) using Photoshop (soon to be placed into Indesign).

I plan to print it out and see if there will be any improvements I can make or developing. Whether it being the pagination, layout, margins or size of the images and whether they feel relevant enough.

Dimensions: w x 210 mm h x 150 mm

The reason I decided on this size was because of the original sizes of my chosen photographs. For each shot I used my Olympus Digital camera which results in w x 320 mm and h x 240 mm. I did not want to produce a publication where the photographs could potentially be of less quality, therefore by making the dimensions smaller I am capable of making the photos appear even better quality as they won't be stretched.

This is the final grid I have chosen for the layout of my images and text within my book design. This could change and I am open to developing it until it is as affective as possible.
